Who am I?
Creating inviting, inspiring and nurturing spaces has always been important to me. I was scraping my furniture across the floor to rearrange my bedroom when I was just six years old!
To date I have completed a number of large projects including designing and rebuilding three period homes and two apartments, the most recent being my own home. This was a complete house rebuild and internal remodel of a very pretty but tired 1837 house in a secluded central London square. This was completed in 2019 and was shortlisted for the Don’t Move, Improve Awards 2021. The house was featured in the March 2022 edition of Grand Designs magazine and the studio was shortlisted and a winner in the World Architects Award for small spaces in 2022.
I have had a successful career as a professional musician, as a principal player in the London Philharmonic Orchestra for many years, performing all over the world in the best concert halls and for film and television.
My music has given me the luxury of travel which has fed all of my creative senses. Collecting artefacts and fabrics for years, I have absorbed international styles and artisanal craftsmanship from as far away as Japan, China and Korea all the way back to my native London via Istanbul, Berlin and Paris to name just a few.
I bring my love of colour, texture and craftsmanship to all my projects.
I have designed bespoke items such as my now famous wine rack, one-off bedroom furniture pieces to large wall storage and media units. I take a change of wall colour just as seriously as a complete house remodel. I work alongside architects, professional trades and craftspeople to bring ideas to life.
I trained at the prestigious KLC School of Design Chelsea and have been working professionally since 2018.
